We are excited to invite you to bring the Why Midwifery documentary to your community. By partnering with community organizations, educational institutions, health advocates, and more, our screenings foster meaningful conversations about maternal health, body autonomy, and reproductive wellness.
Currently, only Chapter 1 – The Historical Context is available for screening (35 minutes). This chapter examines the deep historical roots of midwifery and maternal care, grounding today’s conversations in a vital legacy. Additional chapters—Chapter 2: Addressing Disparities, Chapter 3: Midwifery Empowerment, and Chapter 4: Midwifery Advice—will be released soon, offering audiences a fuller understanding of the challenges and opportunities within midwifery care.

How It Works
1. Choose Your Screening Format
In-Person Experience
Host your screening in person at a specific date and time. Choose any location that works for your audience—such as a community center, church hall, library meeting room, or local theater. You’ll receive access to our secure Cinema Player to show the film.
Virtual Experience
Bring your community together online with our branded virtual cinema platform. Your audience can watch together in real time, engage through live text chat, and participate in a pre-film introduction or post-film discussion via video.
On-Demand Access
Offer flexible viewing by setting up an on-demand screening window (we recommend 7–14 days). Each viewer will have 48 hours to finish the film once they begin. This works well when paired with scheduled online or in-person discussions to deepen engagement.
